The membrane consists of pores with the approximate size of 0.001 microns. The suspended and dissolved impurities are filtered using the semipermeable membrane and clean purified water is obtained on the other side. The gases that are dissolved in the water are removed by using carbon tubes. These carbon tubes suck the poisonous gases present in the water and the gases are impregnated on the surface of the carbon tubes and hence the carbon tubes have to be removed periodically.
